Many of our staff are members of various Chambers of Commerce, Leads groups and other professional organizations that rely heavily on referrals for their business. While speaking with hundreds of businesses and organizations we found that referrals were their most important revenue generator, yet almost no one actively tracked what businesses sent them the best referrals or how much they were worth.

For example, one of our staff attends several mixers, leads groups, and professional organizations events each month. Prior to having myNetworkFactory, he would track every relationship (100’s of them) in excel or even on paper.

One of the leads groups he was a part of met every 2 weeks and its goal was to generate referrals for everyone on the team. Each business was responsible for filling out a triplicate referral slip and submitting it to the president of the leads group for tracking purposes. Unfortunately the data collected was not so helpful, it did not show who was sending the most referrals to whom, and what they were worth to each individual business in the group.

It became apparent that we needed a better way to evaluate our time commitments within each organization. Our creation was myNetworkFactory, an easy to use web app for exchanging quality referrals with others online.

We wanted to keep our application simple and affordable so that any size business, small or large, could afford to capitalize on the number one revenue generator – Referrals.
